Gamma Phi Beta has a long history of outstanding philanthropic and community service. Although not founded as a philanthropic organization, giving back to the community is an important part of our chapter. As an organization committed to women, we envision a community in which every girl and woman has the resiliency necessary to advance her own life and the lives of others.

Since our website has taken on a new look and feel, we felt it was time to include a new section highlighting our News and Events. Learning is among the four values spelled out in Gamma Phi Beta’s creed. Gamma Phi’s Scholarship Program encourages each member to reach above and beyond her full potential and achieve a balance between academics and other activities, such as clubs, sports, jobs, philanthropic activities, and social events.

Gamma Phi Beta Sorority is one of the 10 oldest women's organizations in North America. We believe that you will appreciate the many advantages that your daughter, sister, niece, or friend will experience as a member of Gamma Phi Beta.
In a society where women were discouraged from entering college due to their "insufficient brainpower" and "delicate health," four women from Syracuse University came together to form a society they named Gamma Phi Beta. Now, over 130 years later, we celebrate the vision and dedication of those women and all that have come since then, who have built Gamma Phi Beta into one of the largest and most well-respected sororities in the world.
