Welcome to all incoming UO freshmen!
The women of Gamma Phi Beta want to welcome all new freshman to the UO, and we hope that you will all consider becoming a member of the Greek community. In order to help you make this important decision, we will be one of the chapter houses opening our doors for tours during select days of IntroDucktion. We hope you will take the opportunity to learn a little more about Greek Life at the University of Oregon.

Please help us welcome our newly initiated sisters!
We are so excited to announce our upcoming Inspiration Week that will take place from April 20-April 24, 2009. We will initiate 17 new sisters during the week and we are so excited to welcome them into Gamma Phi Beta!
As a side note, our house will be temporarily closed as we welcome these women into our sisterhood. Please feel free to visit any time after 12pm on Saturday, April 25. Thank you!
Reese Witherspoon may not be a Gamma Phi Beta, but the new Elle Woods on Broadway, Bailey Hanks, is! Hanks was hand-picked by director Jerry Mitchell out of a group of 10 aspiring Elles on the MTV reality show “Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search for Elle Woods,” which premiered in early June. Congrats Bailey!

Join us as we continue to celebrate 100 years of Gamma Phi Beta history!
The first sorority on the University of Oregon campus — the Nu chapter of Gamma Phi Beta — celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, and Gamma Phis from around the country gathered to commemorate a century of sisterhood and tradition. In addition to the the hundreds of Nu Chapter alums, we also had the privilege of hosting Gamma Phi Beta International President Linda Johnson, who traveled from Colorado to be with us. At the celebration dinner, each decade in Nu Chapter history was revisited through old photographs, speeches from alumni, and skits by current members, which illustrated trends and social movements throughout the years.
